Work with Schools
 As parents of a young family Stewart and Kirstie are keen to
involve and educate children and young people about
environmental issues. Consequently they work with schools on
simple environmental projects when and where possible. Pupils
from Groggan Primary and Moneynick Primary have visited
Glendale's premises and participated in a planting scheme and
it is planned to extend this scheme to other schools and other
areas of work as appropriate.
Glendale recently provided logs and tree bark/wood
chippings for a play area at Randalstown Central Primary
School, which is helping the children to experience different
textures and play resources in a safe and secure play setting. |
